Information We Collect

QuickVids collects certain information from its users in order to operate and improve its services. This information may include:

• Discord User ID: When you log in to the website using Discord, we collect your Discord user ID.
• TikTok Information: When a user sends a TikTok link to a Discord channel that is monitored by QuickVids, we log your user ID, the server ID, message ID, the TikTok ID, and timestamp.
• QuickVids Magic Mention: When you use the QuickVids Magic Mention feature, we collect your Discord user ID, TikTok user IDs, and guild IDs where the feature is set up.
• Log Data: We also collect log data when you interact with QuickVids, such as when you click on the Info button for a TikTok or vote for QuickVids on Top.gg.
• Website Dashboard: When you log in, we collect your Discord ID. While we do ask for your email, this is for just in time needs, and is not stored in our database.

Opting Out

QuickVids provides users with the ability to edit their usage data preferences by using the /privacy usage data slash command in Discord. This command allows users to choose whether they want their TikTok usage data to be collected and used by QuickVids. By default, usage data collection is enabled. However, users may choose to disable usage data collection by using the command. This will still log the tiktok ID, server ID, and timestamp. But personal info such as the user ID and message ID will not be logged.

Use of Information

QuickVids uses the information it collects to operate and improve its services, as well as to generate statistics such as the global count of TikToks embedded in the last 24 hours, the global count of TikToks embedded all times, gloabal count of users, and total server count. QuickVids does not share this information with third parties.

Protection of Information

QuickVids takes appropriate measures to protect the personal information of its users. This includes using industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of user data.

Limits of Our Policy

Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us (ie. tiktok.com). Please be aware that we have no control over the content and policies of those sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy practices.

Updates to Privacy Policy

QuickVids may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes to the Privacy Policy, we will provide notice to users by posting a prominent notice on our Discord Support Server.
